  • Hello! Glad You Are Here

Change Is Possible—Even When It Feels Out of Reach

You may be successful and capable in many areas of your life, yet still struggle with anxiety, overwhelm, relationship difficulties, or patterns you can’t seem to change. You may understand why you do what you do—and still find yourself doing it.
You don’t have to figure it out alone.
Many of the ways we learned to cope earlier in life can continue shaping how we feel, relate, and respond long after they stop serving us. Therapy can help you understand and change these patterns, while developing a healthier, more compassionate relationship with yourself.
My style is warm, collaborative, and direct. I offer results-oriented, trauma-informed therapy focused on meaningful change in both your personal and professional life.
If you’re ready for things to feel different, let’s get started.
My goal is to make this process feel comfortable, collaborative, and genuinely useful from the start.
  • About Me

I aim to be the kind of therapist I would seek out myself—warm, genuine, and empathetic, while also willing to offer honest reflections and direct feedback. I help clients cut through the clutter to understand and change what’s driving disconnection or dissatisfaction in their lives.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with a BS in Communications from The University of Texas at Austin and an MA in Professional Counseling from Texas State University. I’ve been in private practice for more than 25 years.

I’m not a native Austinite, but after three decades here, it’s definitely home. I have two grown children and an ever-rotating roster of foster pups.

How often do I come to therapy?

I will provide recommendations for a visit frequency that best fits your needs once we begin to work together. Most individuals come to therapy weekly or biweekly. The goal is to come more frequently in the beginning and attend less often as you begin to use the tools learned in sessions.

    How do I get started?

Many people can feel overwhelmed with the idea of therapy and uncertain of how to begin. I help make the process easier by offering a free 15-minute consultation to determine if therapy together is a good fit and I will provide additional referrals if needed. A detailed intake appointment helps each person to realize their personal goals for growth and what they would like to gain from counseling. Fill out the contact form below or give me a call.

    What are your hours?

I schedule appointments on various weekday mornings, afternoons and evenings to accommodate different needs. Appointments are available both in person and via telehealth.
